Gosh it looks more like a lynx than a cat! Glad there were no birds bathing in the bird bath. Great shot Betsy.
Isn't that hilarious? He's just a little kitten, too but looks so long stretched out like that. haha. He isn't usually cross-eyed, either..unless he's looking at his tongue. lol....
I think if I stretched like that I would be cross eyed ROFL
Fabulous capture....Does he not get enough water inside to drink??? I think he does...But...Cats will be cats...That is why we love them so much...:o)Cheers!Linda :o)
yeah, I always laugh....give them a nice clean bowl of water and they'll go for the swimming pool, rain gutter or toilet. ha.
Betsy look so funny! Is a nice shot!
very funny! This was taken last week after the snow melted but now we have snow again and is so cold all the water is ice!
What nice is snowing again!Here so hot 35 ° I was swiming!omy!
Ah, you're working on your tan, and I'm trying to stay moisturized. ha.
That is one TALL cat!
he's just a kitten...so funny how this makes him look huge!
haha, very determined looking! lets hope he got what he was after :)
he was really concentrating! ha.
come here birdie birdie birdie...smiles...i bet you thought he was looking for water...smiles..ha happy saturday betsy!
Oh, is that was it was? Here I thought he was thirsty. ha.
LOL those eyesDo not look wiseAnd at least no tongue got stuckAs he licked and made like a stretchy duckKnow the water thing tooThey skip the clean stuff and lick the stuff that is ewwwOr roll in peeThat will never be gotten over by me hahaha
Today it would be stuckand he would be a very sad duckleaving half his tongue on the ice.would surely not be nice! No, rolling in peewill not be forgotten by me (either)and I'll use it to teasewhenever I please!hahaha. That is something Cassie would never dowhich just proves which is the prissy one of the two.
Yeah she is way ocdOrlin is more of a bull moose at our seaHopefully he will not lickOn a day it will stickAnd prissy cassie you will surely seaTomorrow as we make that groundhog flee haha
oh, a little teaser from you the hostabout tomorrow's post! Can't wait to see how you plan to make him scateven though he isn't a cat!
I was wondering if his tongue was stuck,
A brilliant capture!
haha..got lucky on that one!
You always get the best cat pictures!I thought about his tongue getting stuck too, and I see I wasn't the only one. Our cats drink out of the goldfish bowl. That's pretty yucky too.
well, there are enough around here that there is usually one doing something hilarious! They do keep me entertained, that is for sure. This photo was taken during that warm spell so no worries for a tongue getting stuck on frozen metal. ha.the goldfish bowl...oh that is so funny!
I was thinking I could see ice in the water...but maybe not. Anyway it's such a cute picture and what a healthy pink tongue!!!
no ice, but today there would be...covered by several inches of snow! Brrrr!
That is one l-o-o-o-ong body! What a great picture; you certainly were in the right place at the right time to capture this one.
He really does look long! So funny!
Ha indeed! And Yay! what a clever kitty!! Take carex
Not the most comfortable way to get a drink, but hey,...whatever he wants, I guess!
You should consider to turn your brilliant snapshots of your cats into a book. This cat surely looks VERY relaxed from head to toes! I hope, he (is it a ´he´?) will learn to find easier ways to get a drink!Christel
Yes, Shadow is a he. :) Yes, the bowl would be easier, wouldn't it? But maybe not as fun. :)
Now that's a stretch! :)
hilarious, don't you think?
Great shot! That's one tall cat!
thanks, linda! They can really stretch when they want to! :)
what a capture Betsy! We have a pool and a lake and of course, fresh bowls of fresh water and the toilet seems to be the preferred drinking source.
Hope he didn't get stuck...
I'm serving coffee! Stay and chat! And no awards, please! Your comments are my awards!
